Design Talents is part of Formex's mentoring program and a great platform for new talent. Every year Formex receives a number of exciting applications, and from these approximately 20 talented designers are selected to showcase and sell their innovative design solutions and products to buyers, partners, producers and the press/media.

The department of Design Talents

Design Talent's stands are presented in their own section, which is planned in an architecturally exciting way and differs from the other stands in the hall. The stand is ready upon arrival at the fair with carpet, lighting, electrical outlet and the exhibitor's name in vinyl text on the wall. Based on the basic shape and our limited range of colors as a base, each exhibitor can freely decorate their stand according to their own taste and preferences. The booth area is 6 square meters.

The jury's selection and Best In Show

During the selection, Formex jury look at the products based on novelty value in terms of idea and form, with an emphasis on getting a good mix of product types at the fair. Every year, the jury selects a winner for the Best In Show award - a design award for the designer who excels a little extra out of all the design talents. The winner is presented to the press on the Formex stage, and the prize includes a booth space worth SEK 15,000 at the next fair and editorial content on formex.se and in social media.
